Maya is coming back to Fairy Moon Yoga!
Practicing yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2009, I bring a science-informed, functional approach to movement that supports real life, not just poses. My classes focus on building strength, maintaining mobility, and improving balance, all key elements for long-term health and resilience.
I’m especially passionate about supporting women 40+, addressing the evolving needs of the body with smart, balanced movement that enhances flexibility, joint health, and mental clarity. Drawing from biomechanics, functional movement principles, and nervous-system awareness, I aim to help students move with confidence and ease.
An avid Zen meditator in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, I weave mindfulness and breath into every class, creating space for calm focus and embodied presence. Expect a supportive, thoughtful practice that leaves you feeling strong, steady, and clear, both on and off the mat.
All Levels Classes are Thursday evenings, 6-7:15pm
