We know that have anxiety when studying for the exam, so we write questions to help meet this challenge.
What two words describe us best?...
Variable. Dynamic. Hence: Varidyn :)
We are a small group of professionals who serve; visiting healthcare organizations, listening to challenges you're facing, and rising to solve those challenges.
We'd be grateful if you'd just "share" or "repost" this to help your IP colleagues!
Ok - here's this week's question:
Ready or not....It's time for Test Question Tuesday!
Here we go...The IP gets a visit from a Nursing Leader and an HR representative. There is a Nurse who is pregnant, and that Nurse is worried about having to care for a patient who has CMV (cytomegalovirus). The HR rep and Nurse Leader want the IP to weigh-in with subject-matter expertise. The IP says:
A. Focus on discharging the patient to create a safe environment for the Nurse.
B. The Nurse probably already has antibodies from past exposure in her life.
C. Try to avoid having the nurse care for this patient, but if necessary, she can - just wear appropriate PPE & use good work practices.
D. The nurse must NOT care for this patient.
