Special thanks to the family of the late Sharon Woods for designating Cindy’s Giving Tree as a donation source in lieu of flowers. Sharon was such a generous person, sponsing children through the Giving Tree program since it began 4 years ago. Over $500 was donated in her name this year and those funds will go directly to purchase Christmas gifts. So again thank you so much to the Woods family for taking a dark time in their year and turning it into a bright moment for local kids during the holidays.

Thank you Stacie Dei of the Marshall County FRN for representing all of us to the WV Legislature Joint Committee on Health. Not too many professionals can share the story of the power, impact and importance of our programming like you!

Stacie DeSantis Dei did a fantastic job speaking today before the WV Legislature Joint Committee on Health. She explained how our own Marshall Co. Family Resource Network and other FRNs around the state work in our communities to assist with foster children and foster families (just one of their many roles). 👏👏👏
