Yesterday I spent an unforgettable time under the stars at Mount Wilson Observatory!
Kicked off the evening with a fascinating lecture by Dr. Rosaly Lopes from NASA JPL on Volcanism in the Solar System—from fiery eruptions on Earth to ice volcanoes on distant moons!
But the real magic happened after sunset...
We stayed late at Mount Wilson Observatory for stargazing through the iconic 60-inch and 100-inch telescopes—and wow. The night sky came alive!
The sky was crystal clear, the energy was magical, and the night was filled with curiosity and awe.
We saw brilliant stars, constellations, glowing nebulas. Members of the Los Angeles Astronomical Society had telescopes set up all over the grounds and shared so much insight.
It felt surreal to stand beneath that vast sky, gazing into the cosmos.
An unforgettable night of science, wonder, and pure celestial beauty.
