As a Massage Therapist my certification training covers Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, and basic Pathology and medical terminology among other subjects.
I have knowledge of the relationship of the almost 600 muscles in the human body and can professionally address and help aid in the management of chronic pain, and also in rehabilitation of most muscular and soft tissue injuries with the use of a variety of massage therapy techniques.
However I believe it is the Art and gift of a true Therapist to be able to apply the knowledge and massage techniques in a way that is both effective, relaxing, and beneficial to each clients personal wellness goals and needs; and with almost a decade of experience my dedication to becoming a master of this craft continues to grow stronger. I am truly passionate about massage therapy and the role it plays in my clients lives.

Below I've shared a couple recent reviews from my clients (personal info has be blocked out for privacy).

What is the Lyphatic system? In short, it is a VERY important part of your circulatory system and immune system. The lyphatic system contains lymphocytes which fight off infection by attacking pathogens and bacteria so that they cannot enter blood circulation, in addition it also removes cellular waste, absorbs digestive track fats, and removes excess fluid from the body tissues. So when your Lyphatic system works well, you are likely to feel more healthy and have a strong defense against illness.

Ever notice that if your sitting stagnant on a long flight your more prone to pain and swelling, or if you lay around with little or no movement for long periods of time (for example a prolonged stay in the hospital bed) your more prone to feeling fatigued and become more susceptible to colds and infection?
That is because or lyphatic system need muscle movement and power to be pushed around the body; which is why itโ€™s important to keep our bodies active.

Regular Massage supports the lyphatic system by addressing any congestion and stagnation caused by tight muscle that can restrict the lyphatic flow. And a lyphatic massage in particular focuses on assisting the lyphatic system in removing proteins and waste products that can reduce swelling post injury or post surgery.

Water is essential to all of our daily bodily function. It is what gives life to our planet.
The amount of water each individual needs varies with where they live, age, size, gender, etc.
However in relativity to massage; hydration after a massage session is essential to recovery. Because massage relaxes soft tissue tension an improve circulatory restrictions, it allows for metabolic waste, that builds up in the muscle tissue, to be moved to the circulatory system where it could then be moved to the kidneys Nd be flushed out of the body.
The overall benefits to staying hydrated are endless. I hope you all are glowing with hydration and wellness throughout your day.

People experience 'Text Neck' when they hold a misaligned, hunched posture of the neck for long periods of time; usually by looking at their phones computer screens Etc.
The problem is that this misalignment puts extra pressure on your cervical spine.Whether you are in a standing or sitting posture, with head straight, your head on average weighs around 12 lb, but for every inch or so you're hunched forward gravity adds an additional 10 lb!!
And overtime that pressure continues to travel down the spine into the shoulders and so forth.
It is my professional opinion that the best course of action to absolve any moderate 'Text Neck' issues ( prior to any disc injuries) is to first have an awareness of any misalignments, practicing good posture, and also to strengthening the muscles in the neck that support the spine with exercises.
Also including massage can assist to break down any knots or adhesions within the soft tissue, promoting circulation, improving range of motion, also relieving chronic tension and pain and do much more!!!!

Contact me today so we could have further conversation about helping you to maintain alignment on your wellness journey.

Research has shown that massage improves moods, slows the heart rate, and decreases blood pressure by inducing pain killing and stress reducing hormones, such as endorphins and serotonin (which is then converted into melatonin);

Massage has also been proven to lowering cortisol levels, which is one of main hormones involved in bringing the body into fight or fight state and also linked to promoting anxiety and depression.
Endless studies has shown that stress is the root cause for most, if not all health ailments, as well as making any preexisting ailing conditions worst.
Being that massage can balance hormone regulation, it gives your system a better chance of getting back to a state of balance( homeostasis). And if you look at the world around us and within us, you can see evidence that the nature of all things is to have balance.

PS If you wish to have further discussion on this topic feel free to contact me!
