Baywinde, a Senior Lifestyle community, was recently highlighted on NBC Nightly News. Dining Services Director Taylor and her husband, Jason, celebrated their love with a second wedding ceremony held at the community, where more than 200 guests joined in the festivities. Two cherished residents, Jack and Angelo, proudly escorted Taylor down the aisle. As Jack shared, “I felt like I was walking my granddaughter down the aisle.”

Aloha! 🏝️ We had an incredible time at our annual summer luau! We were entertained by a fabulous steel pan drummer and a few rounds of volleyball. Laughing and smiling filled our afternoon. Our dining team crafted the most delicious Hawaiian-inspired appetizers and dinner.

During the party, we snacked on some mango salsa, pineapple wrapped bacon, and roasted purple sweet potatoes along with snowballs from Go Melvo Snoballs. For dinner, we enjoyed Huli Huli chicken and amazing pulled pork sliders.

Pink goes good with green! In honor of Glinda the Good Witch Day, we threw a Wicked-inspired party! We had all things pink and green: snacks, decorations, drinks, and games. Our Programming Director even dressed in a Glinda-esque gown! We passed out crowns, witch hats, listened to the 'Wicked" soundtrack, and played "pin the crown" and witch hat ring toss!
