In preparation for our upcoming ugly sweater holiday party, we got creative and decorated our own! We used a multitude of accessories to style our sweaters to become fashion icons! We're so excited to see these on the dance floor at our party!

A timeless Christmas decoration for many are train sets that surround the Christmas tree. To keep this tradition alive, one of our train-enthusiast residents set up one of his beloved holiday trains, complete with movement and music! Passersby love seeing it in action, and it's interesting finding other train lovers! It adds such a classic touch to our Great Room for the holidays!

The community is decorated, the apartments are decorated, so why not assistive devices?! Our Fox Therapy team helped our residents deck out their walkers, wheelchairs, and canes for the holidays! We had a lot of laughs and loved helping our residents make their creative ideas come to life!

Last week, our residents were invited to attend the Severna Park High School Dance Company's winter showcase! The chosen music was wonderful and the dancing was top notch! We are grateful to have gotten the opportunity to support these wonderful dancers who work tirelessly doing something they love.

After our elves finished decorating assisted living, they made their way to a holiday party in our Embrace neighborhood to decorate! We danced and sang along to holiday classics, had some cookies and cupcakes with apple cider! Our residents had a blast and even gave their ideas on where decorations should go! Seeing them get involved is so special!

Hard to believe it's already December! Our elves got to work putting up all of the holiday decor and decorated the tree in our Great Room! While our residents enjoyed their entertainment of the decorating chaos, they enjoyed some delicious hot chocolate (complete with special toppings) and some fabulous cookies to go along with it. We had so much fun and our residents laughed the afternoon away watching Santa's helpers get ready for the holiday season!
