As we embark upon the true new year and make our way through winter hibernation into spring renewal, I invite you to join us for the 21 day group cleanse.

🍁Autumn is officially here! 🍁

As the weather starts shifting, take care to change diets to warmer body temperature meals, omit ice in beverages, use warming herbs like ginger and cinnamon in your teas and broths, get your scarves and sweaters out, do breathwork to strengthen your lungs and keep your joints lubricated with yoga and/or Qi Gong.

Did you know that one session of acupuncture circulates your blood, lymph and Qi even more effectively than a 30 min cardio exercise workout?

If you have not had acupuncture in more than 3 months, schedule that for yourself now to keep your blood and Qi flowing!

A healthy body thrives with acupuncture at least once a month to minimally every season. Think of it as an equivalent to an oil change. Don’t wait until the check engine light goes on!

Times are tough and it’s easy to tell yourself to go ahead and indulge in sugar, alcohol and foods that contribute to disease to offset a rough day.

But when that goes on, day after day and then week after week and month after month, so those promised metabolic problems arise. We start seeing this as bloating, foggy headedness, fatigue, decreased focus, decreased energy, irritability, etc.

You know this. We all know this. So why do
so many keep staying in the same rut?

The full moon in Aquarius is coming next week and on it, we’re starting a cleanse! Full moons are a great time for releasing that which doesn’t serve us, so what great timing to release toxins and waste out of the body! We’ll re-emerge clean!

I recently read that it will take at least 6 months to regrow a healthy gut microbiome from a 1 week course of standard antibiotics like a z-Pak or amoxicillin and many others.

Our guts in this country are LACKING in nutrients, healthy bacteria and are overgrown with parasites and opportunistic infections like candida (chronic yeast infections), staphylococcus (skin infections) and so many others.

Fermentation is a great way to introduce and feed healthy bacteria in your body. While it’s good to kill off overgrowth of bad things, you’ve got to make sure your body’s natural defense system is given a healthy start to continue to keep infections at bay long term.

I try to eat or drink something fermented with every meal to help my gut rebuild after sickness or after a parasite cleanse and stay strong.

Here I’ve got a batch of Jun, Kombucha and Tepache going.

Tepache is the easiest thing to make from the rind and core of a pineapple, just put in sweetened water (I use 1/4c wildflower honey in this 2 pint jar), let it grow bubbles (which is off gas from bacterial fermentation - the good kind) and in 2-3 days (less with hotter climate), you’ve got a yummy probiotic rich drink that is way better than soda, imo.🍍
