Seeking experienced QME Physicians for SIBTF Cases!

We're seeking California-certified QME physicians to join our team for Subsequent Injuries Benefits Trust Fund (SIBTF) cases.

Specialties in Demand:
* Quarterback
* Internal Medicine
* Orthopedic Surgery
* Neurosurgery
* Chiropractic
* Opthamology
* E.N.T.
* Dermatology

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
* Active California QME certification
* Extensive experience with SIBTF cases
* In-depth knowledge of recent case law, including Vigil v. County of Kern and Kite v. WCAB
* Strong medical-legal report writing skills
* Expertise in complex impairment ratings and apportionment

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary evaluating physician for SIBTF cases
Produce comprehensive, well-supported medical-legal reports
Coordinate with consulting specialists as needed

Curious about eligibility? According to Labor code 4571, applicants qualify for SIBTF if their work injury results in 35% WPI or 5% opposite and corresponding WPI, with total disability at least 70%. Remember the Talcott rule: file within 5 years of the DOI (SIF v. Talcott 1970) 35 CCC 80. If you have a settled case near the threshold, it may qualify.
