All types of contact lenses, geriatric services, pediatrics services, ocular disease treatments, dry eye treatments and primary eye care for the entire family. Our contact lens experience includes every kind of contact lens. Daily disposibles, two week disposibles, one month disposibles, toric soft contact lenses to correct astigmatism, bifocal contact lenses and rigid gas permeables are fit here on a daily basis. Pasadena Optometry Center has been fitting Rigid Gas Permeable contact lenses for over 20 years.We have the latest in all of the newest contact lens technology. We serve all types of patients and are able to treat most eye diseases here in the office. We also have the most recent dry eye therapies available. We offer geriatric services, pediatric services, ocular disease treatments, dry eye treatments, allergy treatments, primary eye care for the entire family and contact lense services. Summer is here and you know what that means – vacation time!

Whether you’re heading to the mountains, relaxing on the beach, or driving to see friends or family, it’s important that you and your eyes have what it takes to see the world clearly. Before you step out on your next adventure, check out these great do’s and don’ts from the American Academy of Ophthalmology:

Do: Double your pairs and pack your backup glasses
Don’t: Wait to see an eye doctor before traveling
Do: Prepare for dry eyes on airplanes
Don’t: Use water to clean your contacts
Do: Stock up on prescription eye drops
Don’t: Ignore changes in your vision, even on vacation
Do: Enjoy your adventure.

Most importantly if you do experience an eye emergency while traveling, find an eye doctor near you. Some eye conditions can lead to permanent vision loss if not treated appropriately. Don’t wait!
