PCDA’s mission is to create a community that builds on strengths and relationships to prepare young people with Autism and developmental disabilities for a future in which they are empowered, fulfilled, and feel the security of belonging. PCDA is a multidisciplinary clinic that utilizes the DIR®/Floortime model to serve children and young adults (ages 0-21) with autism or other developmental challenges.

Last Thursday was truly a special evening! ✨

We are beyond grateful to our board member Catherine for opening her beautiful home and generously providing delicious food for our guests. Her warmth and hospitality set the tone for a night filled with connection, joy, and meaningful conversation.

To everyone who joined us, thank you for showing up with open hearts and incredible generosity. And to those who were not able to attend but still made a gift, we felt your support just the same. Your belief in our mission means more than we can say.

It was a wonderful, energizing house party where we had the chance to share the impact of PCDA’s work and invite guests to experience a fun and interactive “taste of PCDA.” The laughter, curiosity, and heartfelt conversations reminded us exactly why community matters so much.

A special thank you to our silent auction donors for making the evening even more exciting, and to those who joined The Circle of Care, our monthly recurring giving community. Your commitment provides steady, reliable support that helps our families feel secure and connected all year long.

Our talented teens have poured their hearts into original artwork, all available for a suggested donation to support PCDA’s Teen Program and next year’s art show. Every gift helps teens participate in meaningful community activities that build confidence and belonging.

🎨✨ Art with Heart is almost here!

Join us on Saturday, December 6, 1–3 PM at our Green Street office for our annual Teen Art Show Fundraiser, made possible by The Hench Foundation. Celebrate our teens’ creativity, enjoy original artwork, and connect with the amazing young artists and families who make PCDA such a special community.

After the show, stay for a warm post-show reception where everyone can mingle and celebrate our teen artists together.

This year is extra special because it’s the first time the show will also serve as a fundraiser, supporting next year’s teen program. Every suggested donation helps our teens keep creating and expressing themselves through art.

🎶 What an incredible Fall Recital! 🎶

On November 15, our Green St building was buzzing with energy as our performers lit up the room (and screens!) with a fantastic mix of live and digital performances. We are so proud of every young person who shared their talents, tried something new, and shined so brightly.

To all the families who support and encourage their children every day — thank you. Your partnership makes moments like this possible.

Huge cheers for our amazing Creative Arts team, our dedicated staff, and the young adults who helped bring everything together. Your creativity, teamwork, and heart made this celebration unforgettable.
