Great news! Orders have been lifted and residents who were evacuated to the convention center are now back in the community.
If you wish to return loved ones back to the community, it is now safe to do so.

Please call-in advance to let the community know you are enroute with a loved one returning or if you wish to pick up a loved one from the community to ensure we are ready for your arrival.

We have been very fortunate during this disaster and recognize those who were less fortunate. Please continue to keep the community surrounding Pasadena Highlands in your thoughts and thank you for your patience during this time.

Currently there are no changes to the current evacuation order set in place by the Fire Marshall. The good news is that the Red Flag high wind conditions are expected to subside by this evening according to CalFire.

As we continue to care for residents and watch evacuation orders closely, please continue to let us know if you have picked up your loved one that was evacuated to the Convention Center.

Again, thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this.

Fire Evacuation Update
The evacuation orders remain and residents who have evacuated the building cannot return as of yet. We will provide another update later in the morning if anything changes.
Rest assured, residents are being well taken care of and if you have concerns or questions refer to phone number provided in earlier memo.

If you have picked up a loved one who needs medication, please call community and speak with a Med Tech. If you have picked up a loved one from the evacuation shelter, please notify us.

Pasadena Highlands Residents and Families,
Important Update: Community Evacuation Due to Fire
We want to inform you about an urgent situation at Pasadena Highlands. Due to the fire in the surrounding area, we are taking every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, staff, and loved ones.
Evacuation Details
Most Independent and Assisted Living residents have been safely evacuated in coordination with local authorities and emergency responders to the Pasadena Convention Center (175 South Euclid Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91101). There are two entrances, (a) on Euclid Avenue, and (b) Marengo Avenue, both between Green Street and Cordova Street. We have staff onsite to meet the needs of all the residents.
Journey (Memory Care) residents and a few Assisted Living residents will remain at the community under close supervision until further notice. We have coordinated with local authorities to ensure their safety.

Resident Safety Is Our Top Priority
Our staff is working tirelessly to provide comfort and assistance to all residents.
How You Can Stay Informed
Families are being notified directly now and will continue to receive updates directly through Life Loop, Facebook and our website.
We have team members at the community and our main phone number is working 626-791-1981. Please use this to update us if you’ve picked your loved one up at Pasadena Highlands or the Convention Center, otherwise we need this line for emergencies only.

Pasadena Highlands Residents and Families,
We are aware of the that is burning within Pasadena and due to high winds, residents have been evacuated per law enforcement orders. Residents have been evacuated to designated evacuation centers, picked up by family or have been advised to shelter in place.

Our employees are working diligently to ensure a smooth evacuation, and the safety of our residents is our highest priority.

We understand you have questions and may want to call or come to the community. This is the only information we have currently, and the remainder of our time is spent assisting residents, implementing our plan of action and awaiting the instructions of law enforcement and fire personnel.
