Community Spotlight!!
We’re delighted to share an upcoming offering from the Raha Foundation:
"Not Just Noticing: Unpacking & Integrating the Positive Cycle", led by EFT Trainer Sandra Taylor.
This thoughtful training invites clinicians to slow down and bring particular attention to helping us more fully recognize, celebrate, and integrate positive shifts in our clients’ relationships in Stage 2. Feb 27–28, 2026

We love supporting offerings that strengthen our shared EFT community and expand how we help couples consolidate change. Learn more and register at rahafoundation.org 💛

Today, we join a global community in recognizing World Mental Health Day. This is a moment to pause, reflect, and recommit to the healing work that connects us all.

As therapists, we witness every day the courage it takes to turn toward pain, to seek connection and understanding, and to move toward wholeness. We honor our clients, our colleagues, and ourselves for the commitment to growth and compassion, one moment, one session, one heart at a time.

Let us continue to nurture awareness, break stigma, and hold space for the humanity that binds us all.

Congratulations, Natalie Milom, LCSW — Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy Supervisor! 🌟
We are beyond thrilled to celebrate on becoming a Certified EFT Supervisor — and to honor this historic milestone as the first Black EFT Supervisor in the state of Georgia!
Natalie’s journey reflects profound dedication, courage, and a deep commitment to the heart of EFT — fostering secure attachment, emotional responsiveness, and transformational change in both therapy and supervision.
✨ ICEEFT Trainer James Hawkins, PhD, LPC shared: “What particularly stands out about Natalie is her emotional presence. She listens with empathy, responds with clarity, and facilitates learning environments that are both safe and growth-promoting. Supervisees under her guidance benefit from her steady leadership and her ability to attune to the blocks and breakthroughs that are part of learning this model well.
Natalie is celebrated for her empathy, clarity, and leadership — tracking emotional processes with skill, offering grounded feedback, and helping therapists grow with confidence and care.
Her commitment to inclusion and her pioneering spirit make her a trailblazer and an invaluable member of our EFT community. We are so proud of you, Natalie — your presence and voice enrich this work for us all.

This June, we celebrate the beautiful diversity, resilience, and joy of our LGBTQIA+ community. As an EFT community rooted in the science of attachment and the transformative power of connection, we stand proudly in support of love in all its forms and identities.

Pride is both a celebration and a continued call to action—a reminder that safety, visibility, and dignity are not guaranteed for everyone. At EFTCLA, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive space where all therapists and clients, especially those from historically made-to-be marginalized communities, feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Throughout this month and beyond, we invite you to:

*Reflect on how your work holds space for q***r and trans clients and supervisees
*Seek out voices, stories, and trainings led by LGBTQIA+ therapists and leaders
*Celebrate the courage and authenticity that lives in our community
*Honor the ongoing fight for equity and liberation, in and beyond the therapy room

Celebrate Pride in Los Angeles

To further honor Pride Month, consider checking out https://lapride.org/ to learn about the many vibrant local events happening around Los Angeles that you might consider attending! For those not local to L.A. check out your local happenings !

We are grateful for the richness that q***r identities bring to our professional community—and to our collective healing.

This live Zoom workshop will explore how subtle ADHD traits can show up in couples therapy—and how these often-missed behaviors may drive disconnection in the cycle. Grazel Garcia, LMFT, Certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor Candidate, will guide us in identifying these patterns and offer tools for working with coupels through a neurodiverse-affirming lens.
