PISD School Nurses had an incredibly productive and insightful day! Training like this is crucial for ensuring that campus staff are well-prepared to handle medical emergencies and mass casualty scenarios efficiently and effectively. Kudos to Nurse Janak from Jensen Elementary and Nurse Brady from Sparks Elementary for their dedication and expertise in organizing and presenting such a valuable session. Their efforts not only enhance the safety and well-being of both staff and students but also empower the entire school community to respond confidently in critical situations.

We had two great days of Pasadena Independent School District employees participating in summer enrichment while learning life-saving skills! Our trainings included first aid skills in responding to different types of injuries and medical emergencies as well how to stop a life threatening bleed, and CPR/AED.

Please make sure you have turned in your 7th grader's most up to date immunization record or current affadavit to waive required immunizations before the first day of school.

Please turn in your 7th grade student's current immunization record or affadavit to waive immunizations to your school nurse before the first day of school.

Attention all incoming 7th graders and new 8th grade students.

You must have up to date immunizations in order to start school on the first day.

Shot records MUST BE SIGNED OR STAMPED from the location providing the immunization.

Shot records may be emailed (KMcKenna@pasadenaisd.org) or dropped off at school.

Your child must be current with required immunizations to attend any Athletic Summer Camps, Hornet Hype Day or pick up any Athletic Equipment (including football equipment)
