I got the paperback proof of my book today! It came out so nice! I love the size, the layout, everything looks great! I just need to go through it and make sure there are no printing errors. Once I sign off on it, we’ll be live on all the major online book retailers, like Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc. Yeah!
Some background on the book: About 2 1/2 years ago, I was riding my bike home from work, reflecting on my day of client sessions. At that moment, it occurred to me that there were A LOT of underlying problems, challenges, behavior patterns that many of my clients shared. In addition to that, there were also a lot of underlying tools and solutions that we’d developed over the years. That’s the cool thing about a “practice.” The more people you help, the more data you collect, and the more effective you can be at helping the next person.
Once this occured to me, I realized, “Hmmm..I think I can write a book based on all this experience.” And that is how the book started.
In the book, I combine some of my own personal journey, along with some client case stories, with practical tools for designing and maintaining a healthy life, without weird, silly diets, restrictions, and overwhelm...all based on health sciences, habit change psychology, and real experiences from thousands of coaching sessions and hundreds of clients who have created meaningful change in their health and their lives.
