We at New Hope Women's Center would like to acknowledge Suzie Andrews for her generous contribution of $1,500.00, which was designated to support the house according to her last wishes. Thank you to Shannon Marie Chatagnier for delivering the check to us today. This donation will cover three to four months of coffee expenses, which was a significant aspect of Susie's love for New Hope, as coffee is one of our major monthly expenses. With this donation, we will be able to continue providing coffee, fostering a sense of community and peace among our members. There's no better feeling than walking into God's house, getting a cup of coffee, and feeling a sense of peace and contentment. It's people like Suzie who continue to make this house special for so many. May you rest in the arms of God. We love you, Susie.

Helping Women recover from addiction since 1983

New Hope Women's Center was founded in 1983 by Rickey D. Carter, Irma Howard, and Bob Crosby. New Hope Women's Center became a non-Profit Corporation on August 2, 1985. The house was bought on April 7, 1987. New Hope holds up to 26 women at a time, but could use some extra funds as the house is old and needs lots of repairs. Not every recovery process works for everyone, but New Hope has had an exceptionally high success rate for the women who have had the opportunity to go through the house. A good portion of this success is due to the previous residents who return to help the new lady in her journey to recovery. When we can't go anywhere else we can always go home to New Hope. Getting help recovering and then coming back to help someone else is a proven way to continually empower all involved and to address anything this life may throw at you without drugs and alcohol, therefore giving the new women hope that they too can recover.
