Good morning to all. To help us keep the Christmas tradition here at New Hope Women's Center, remember that Christmas is not actually about gifts, but heartfelt giving that can also help warm a cold heart. Some of the ladies have never experienced Christmas prior to being here. Our beautiful community has always brought gifts for the women to open on Christmas Day. I will list their names as Christmas characters to protect their privacy. 😇💜 Whatever you choose is greatly appreciated. We thank you for your continuous acts of love and giving to our little house.

Below, I am listing some gift ideas: Slippers, tops, bras, robes, hair brushes, hair clips/ponytail holders/barrettes, underwear, regular tennis shoes, hygiene products, socks, earrings, necklaces, lotion, journals, and pen sets.

You are welcome to drop them off at any time..
If you would like to order through Amazon, please attach their given name. I am listing our address below 3636 Meadow Wood Dr., Pasadena, TX 77503. If you have any questions you can call me at 225-456-1724 Merry Christmas to all.

Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts 🥰

Helping Women recover from addiction since 1983

New Hope Women's Center was founded in 1983 by Rickey D. Carter, Irma Howard, and Bob Crosby. New Hope Women's Center became a non-Profit Corporation on August 2, 1985. The house was bought on April 7, 1987. New Hope holds up to 26 women at a time, but could use some extra funds as the house is old and needs lots of repairs. Not every recovery process works for everyone, but New Hope has had an exceptionally high success rate for the women who have had the opportunity to go through the house. A good portion of this success is due to the previous residents who return to help the new lady in her journey to recovery. When we can't go anywhere else we can always go home to New Hope. Getting help recovering and then coming back to help someone else is a proven way to continually empower all involved and to address anything this life may throw at you without drugs and alcohol, therefore giving the new women hope that they too can recover.
