Sometimes, it’s not about changing everything, it’s about bringing harmony to what’s already there.

This 30-year-old patient, petite and soft-featured, felt her nose stood out in a way that didn’t reflect how she saw herself. The bridge felt too prominent. The tip, too projected. It drew attention she didn’t want, and didn’t feel like her.

Through a closed preservation rhinoplasty, we were able to reduce the dorsal hump while preserving the natural architecture of her nose. Along with tip refinement and deprojection, the goal wasn’t a dramatic change, it was balance.

Patients with thicker, oilier skin often face an uphill battle with definition, particularly at the nasal tip. It’s an important consideration in surgical planning, not a barrier, but a reality to be respected.
