You know that feeling when your reflection doesn’t match the energy you feel inside? She felt it too.

At 71, this lovely patient wanted to address the fullness in her lower face and neck, which had bothered her for years and became more pronounced with time.

To restore balance and a more youthful contour, she underwent a deep plane facelift, neck lift, brow lift, lower eyelid surgery, and an upper lip lift. Together, these procedures helped:
✨ Minimize jowls and soften the jawline.
✨ Define the neck angle.
✨ Shorten the upper lip for better facial balance.
✨ Smooth under-eye areas.
✨ Restore upper cheek volume.

Now, nearly 18 months post-op, she looks like herself, just with refreshed features and a lifted, more vibrant appearance.

Wondering if it’s time for a facelift?

You don’t need to have it all figured out...and you don’t need to look “overdone” to benefit from one, either.

Facial aging is natural. But for many people, there comes a point where filler and skincare just aren’t delivering the same results. That’s where surgical options, like a facelift, can step in. The key is knowing when the timing is right, and what kind of facelift suits your unique anatomy and goals.

As a facial nerve and facial paralysis specialist, I approach facelift surgery with an emphasis on deep structural support and natural movement, because when your face is involved, subtle precision matters.

Tired of looking tired but not quite ready for a full facelift?

This beautiful 55-year-old patient felt her appearance no longer reflected the energy she felt on the inside. Although she wasn’t interested in a full facelift, she wanted to address the early signs of facial aging with subtle, natural results.

While I’m typically cautious about the term "mini facelift" since it can vary significantly between surgeons, we designed a customized, conservative lift tailored to her early signs of aging. In this case, the deep plane was still addressed, but the overall lift was more limited in scope and involved minimal skin removal.

Even with this more restrained approach, we were able to achieve noticeable improvements:
✨ Smoother under-eye area.
✨ Improved neck bands.
✨ More defined jawline.
✨ Softening of early jowls.

Her goal wasn’t a dramatic transformation but rather a refreshed, more rested version of herself, and that’s exactly what we achieved.

For patients seeking more comprehensive and longer-lasting facial rejuvenation, options such as a full deep plane facelift, neck lift, brow lift, eyelid surgery, and fat grafting can be considered. In her case, a carefully tailored, limited procedure provided the natural improvement she was hoping for—and she couldn’t be happier.

Considering facial rejuvenation but unsure where to begin? Let’s discuss what’s right for you at the link below.
