This month’s hands-on refinement training focused on providing precise neck relief in sidelying positioning. Our foundational training emphasizes creating movement between the vertebrae and lengthening areas that have been compressed, but this month we went deeper, focusing on relief for both the anterior and posterior neck.

We addressed the platysma, SCM, and scalenes on the front of the neck, and the levator scapulae, trapezius, splenius capitis, and suboccipitals on the back. My goal is always to do meaningful work that creates change in the tissue while also supporting body mechanics that feel sustainable. You would be amazed at how often that becomes a win-win for both the therapist and the client. When it feels good in your body as a therapist, it almost always feels better for the client too.

We hold these refinement trainings every month, rotating topics so our team stays fresh and continues providing the highest level of maternity care to our community.

✨ Our new branded totes have arrived, just in time for Care Plan launch on October 1!

So much has been happening behind the scenes to prepare for this transition. Jen, our long-time team member and designer, has been busy creating everything from the new menu and comparison charts, to these beautiful bags and fresh signage for the front desk. I’ve been re-building our website for launch, leading team trainings on making Care Plan recommendations, and running multiple case study workshops.

Meanwhile, our admin team has been answering questions, helping match clients with the right Care Plan, preparing the welcome gifts, and updating the referral lists that come with each plan. We’re also migrating our online courses into a new platform so they can be included as Care Plan perks for all of you.

This may look like “just a bag,” but it represents months of preparation, teamwork, and care. We’re so excited to share what’s coming. 💜
