On last Monday, Assemblyman Chris Holden presented us, Woods-Valentine Mortuary, with a Business Legacy Award on behalf of the CA Black Legislative Caucus and the CA Black Chamber of Commerce in Sacramento. Eighteen Black businesses were honored. We were also recognized at the State Capitol in the Assembly and Senate Chambers. Mom was able to attend with us and was showered with lots of congratulations and love. ❤️ We thank the Lord for blessing us to serve our community for more than 95 years.

Graveside Services for Gail Valentine Taylor’s husband, George M. Taylor, Jr. , will be held at 9:30 am, Jan. 5, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Courts of Remembrance), 6300 Forest Lawn Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90068. All are welcome. We will be wearing masks (no exceptions) and observing social distancing. 💙✝️💙

My precious husband of 35 years, passed away in his sleep this morning. 💙 My heart is broken but I thank God for the wonderful years we had together.❤️ Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
