We are delighted to announce our collaboration with the Department of Mental Health, offering outpatient mental health services to individuals recently released from incarceration. It is rewarding to be working in that capacity once more, assisting people in their reintegration efforts.

The holidays are right around the corner. Holidays can notoriously be stressful for a variety of reasons. Holidays can trigger loss, worry, frustration and stress. Day 29: I went to a funeral today. It was a beautiful and simple celebration of a life well lived. It reminded me that loss is part of loving. I am thankful that I have people in my life that I have loved…. Even though losing them sucks.

Day 26: Day 26 brought gratefulness for my home and my bed. I was exhausted. I struggle with allowing myself to relax because I’m sensitive to feeling “lazy”. But, after I took care of my parents’ medication, this girl was going nowhere. I put my phone away, snuggled up with my dog and watched TV all afternoon.

Day 23: Today I am incredibly thankful for my niece. She has always been my “Jelly Bean”. I am so proud of her. Becca is in her second year of law school.
