Meet our Team!

Therapists are people too.

They’ve faced challenges, experienced struggles, and navigated their own moments of growth—just like you. It’s not what disqualifies them; it’s often what deepens their empathy, understanding, and ability to truly connect.

Their lived experiences don’t make them less effective—they often make them more compassionate guides on your journey.

You’re not alone in what you’re feeling. And the person sitting across from you understands more than you may realize. 💙

Fill out your online request for an appointment and our coordinator will reach out to match you with one of our compassionate team members.

Art therapy is a powerful way to express what words sometimes cannot.

Through painting, drawing, or creative exploration, emotions can surface in a safe and meaningful way—helping to reduce stress, process experiences, and promote healing. You don’t need to be an artist to benefit; you just need a willingness to create.

Sometimes, the path to understanding begins with a single brushstroke. 🎨

Monday is more than the start of a new week—it’s a fresh opportunity to reset, refocus, and begin again.

No matter what last week looked like, today offers a clean slate. Take a deep breath, set your intentions, and move forward one step at a time. Progress doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.

Give yourself permission to start where you are and grow at your own pace. 🌱

🌍 World Health Day is a reminder that health is more than just physical—it includes our mental and emotional well-being too.

Taking care of your mind is just as important as caring for your body. Managing stress, setting boundaries, seeking support, and allowing yourself time to rest are all essential parts of a healthy life.

You don’t have to navigate challenges alone. Prioritizing your mental health is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Today, and every day, choose small steps that support your overall well-being. 💙

Not everyone connects with religion—and that’s okay. But for those who do, faith can be a powerful complement to professional therapy, offering an added layer of strength and support. No matter the path you’ve chosen, healing is always within reach.

Bringing your struggles into the light is a courageous step toward growth and renewal.

“Faith acts as a powerful component in healing by providing hope, resilience, and purpose. When integrated into professional therapy, it can lead to more meaningful outcomes for emotional and mental well-being—bridging spiritual and psychological needs, easing stress, and encouraging forgiveness.”

Water does more than hydrate the body—it also supports a healthy mind. Our brains are nearly 75% water, and even mild dehydration can affect mood, focus, and energy. When we take care of our physical needs, we support our emotional well-being too.

Drinking enough water throughout the day can help improve concentration, reduce fatigue, and support overall mental clarity. Just like our minds need rest and support, our bodies need nourishment and hydration to function at their best.

Today is a good reminder to pause, take a sip of water, and check in with yourself. Small acts of self-care—like staying hydrated—can make a meaningful difference in how we feel.

Take care of your mind by caring for your body. 💙

Downtime is essential for mental, physical, and emotional well-being, acting as a critical, productive pause that fuels creativity, reduces burnout, and improves focus. By allowing the brain to process information and the nervous system to recover, regular downtime lowers stress, boosts cognitive function, and enhances overall productivity.
Key benefits and importance of downtime include:
Enhanced Creativity and Problem-Solving: Letting your mind wander enables new ideas to connect, fostering innovation and better solutions to problems.
Burnout Prevention and Stress Reduction: Breaks, even microbreaks, allow the nervous system to shift from high alert to recovery, reducing stress hormones and irritability.
Improved Cognitive Function: Regular rest helps restore attention, memory consolidation, and focus, allowing for higher quality work with fewer errors.
Mental and Emotional Health: Consistent downtime helps manage emotions, reduces rumination, and improves overall mood.
Physical Restoration: It allows the body to rest and recharge, essential for sustained energy levels.
(Cleveland Clinic)
How to Implement Effective Downtime:
Unplug: Disconnect from technology, social media, and news feeds to avoid constant stimulation.
Schedule It: Intentionally build breaks into your day, such as a walk, nap, meditation, or quiet time.
Engage in Low-Cognitive Tasks: Opt for activities that don't require intense focus, like gardening, cleaning, or daydreaming.
Set Boundaries: Establish firm limits between work and personal life to ensure adequate recovery time.
)Cleveland Clinic)
For children, a 60-40% split between structured activities and free, unstructured time is recommended to support development.

St. Patrick’s Day can be a fun celebration, but it can also bring pressure to overindulge or engage in behaviors that don’t align with your well-being. Here are some healthy ways to celebrate while avoiding destructive habits: 🍀

1. Set an intention before the day begins
Decide how you want to feel at the end of the day—proud, relaxed, connected. Let that guide your choices.

2. Celebrate with purpose
Plan activities that aren’t centered around drinking—like cooking an Irish meal, listening to Irish music, attending a local parade, or spending time outdoors.

3. Go with supportive people
Spend time with friends or family who respect your boundaries and don’t pressure you to overdo it.

4. Pace yourself
If you choose to drink, alternate with water, eat beforehand, and set a limit you’re comfortable with.

5. Have an exit plan
If a situation starts to feel overwhelming or unhealthy, give yourself permission to leave early.

6. Try a “green but healthy” tradition
Wear green, take a walk in nature, make a themed mocktail, or do something creative that keeps the spirit of the day without the downsides.

7. Check in with yourself
Pause during the day and ask: Is this helping me feel better tomorrow?

8. Focus on connection, not consumption
The most meaningful celebrations often come from laughter, stories, and time spent with people—not excess.

Reminder: Celebrations should add to your life, not take away from it. Choose what helps you feel your best the next day. 🌈✨
