Derrick Myers, M.D. Anti-Aging Specialist & Erectile Dysfunction Specialist located in P ABH’s Executive Medical Director is Dr. Derrick Myers.

Dr. Myers is a board certified Emergency Medicine physician who’s been practicing in California since 2003. He completed his medical school education at Howard University College of Medicine where he graduated with honors and residency training at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ where he focused on emergencies in the geriatric, developmentally disabled and psychiatric populations with chronic illnesses. Dr. Myers also received additional training and expertise in Internal and Family Medicine when he worked in a clinic setting for many years. After residency, Dr. Myers worked mainly in the hospital emergency room caring for many under-served populations of people who were receiving poor substandard medical care. Dr. Myers noticed emergency visits were due to lack of availability of providers to patients to address issues in a timely fashion. His passion grew and he began to focus his practice on improving the overall care and follow up within this demanding population. ABH focuses on keeping patients out of the hospital and emergency rooms with simple solutions. ABH is supported with a knowledgeable staff and team of providers that use telemedicine technology and the Internet to reach patients faster and improve management outcomes of their chronic conditions by close and frequent follow up in addition to personal visits with our patients.

Stack on Muscle with These Foods
(http://ow.ly/E3sv30ltVAO)

Although resistance training is a necessary part of stacking on lean muscle, your work to a better physique starts well before you hit the gym. In fact, building muscle begins in the kitchen. A healthy diet will fuel your workouts, provide energy, and give your muscles the building blocks necessary to repair. When walking through the grocery store make sure to include a variety of fruits and vegetables as they contain essential vitamins, minerals, fiber, and fluids for energy. You can find excellent sources of protein in lean meats, eggs, and dark-meat chicken. Nuts and beans are also excellent sources of protein, but they also contain vitamins, antioxidants, fiber, and healthy fats. Avoiding processed foods, and opting for a more natural balance diet won't just make you more muscular; it will allow you to feel better and maintain your motivation as well.

What Are the Causes of Low Testosterone?

As you age, it's natural for your testosterone levels to decrease, but when testosterone drops too low you may experience certain symptoms, and it could affect your daily life. Low testosterone may cause a drop in your s*x drive, the appearance of enlarged breasts, also known as man b***s, and lead to erectile dysfunction or infertility. Typically, a reduction in your testosterone levels can be the result of testicular injury, radiation or chemotherapy, obesity, diabetes, or use of anabolic steroids in the past that wasn't under a professional healthcare provider's supervision.
