September is National Su***de Prevention Month & Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month. The path to recovery from substance use disorders is intertwined with Su***de Prevention, for some people. According to SAMHSA, 31.7 million Americans are in recovery or perceive themselves to have recovered from alcohol or drug abuse. CDC research states there is 1 su***de death every 11 minutes. As we go into this month, we challenge everyone to help reduce the stigma of mental healthcare by having open, non-judgmental conversations encouraging people to seek help without shame.

**If you or someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts, please seek help immediately. You can connect with compassionate and trained individuals by calling or texting the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline in the United States.**
