Our CEO Kristy Needham made the trip out to Washington, D.C representing TCCH. She was joined by our fellow Washington Health Centers who were proud to meet with Senator Patty Murray’s staff this week. Our goal? Expanding access to the care our communities need to thrive.

Last week, we had a great time welcoming back the ECEAP program at Kennewick School District!
It was a pleasure to connect with families and share the many TCCH resources available to support them as the school year begins. We’re excited to continue partnering to promote healthy, successful starts for every child!

As Community Health Centers (CHCs) mark 60 years of saving lives and dollars, they need your help. Federal funding that keeps CHCs open expires September 30. Without action from Congress, patient access is at risk.

🩺CHCs now care for more patients than ever before, serving nearly 34 million people across 17,000 locations nationwide. They include:

✅ Over 10 million rural residents (at least 1 in 5),
✅ More than 20 million people who live in poverty (at least 1 in 3), and
✅ More than 6 million (at least 1 in 5) uninsured people.

CHCs serve at least 1 in 10 Americans and up to 1 in 7, yet account for only 1% of total U.S. healthcare spending, saving Medicaid and Medicare billions of dollars annually by reducing costly emergency, inpatient, and specialty care.

America needs Community Health Centers. Together, we must ensure that every Community Health Center can continue delivering comprehensive, affordable care that saves lives.
