Three silent killers stalk us all — isolation, lust, and greed.
They feed on comfort, comparison, and disconnection.

Training is the antidote.
Every rep is rebellion against isolation. Every drop of sweat burns away lust for empty pleasure. Every act of discipline silences greed for more and reminds you — you already have enough.

In movement, you remember who you are.

Think about it. It’s like a “Seasonal Lockdown” not too different from the plandemic. We are indoors a lot, lots w vitamin D from lack of sun, poor food choices compounded with less exercise.
Eat well, hydrate, bundle up and get cold fresh air and sunshine!
The difference…nobody and no government is telling you to lock up indoors. You have the power of choice. Choose to live strong, enduring, determined.

💪 Collagen: Why I’m Not Buying the “It Does Nothing” Hype

Hey Fit Fam & Followers,

There’s a new trend online — people trying to cancel collagen.

They’re saying it’s no different than regular protein.

Let me be clear: that’s not true, and it completely ignores the mountain of research we’re seeing emerge.

Collagen isn’t just protein… it’s a peptide — meaning it signals your body to make change.
It literally tells your body to rebuild, repair, and regenerate.

Here’s what the research shows (and I’ll share how to actually use it down below 👇):

1️⃣ Skin Health

A study in the Journal of Skin Pharmacology & Physiology followed women ages 45–65.

With just 2.5g of collagen daily for eight weeks, participants saw a 20% reduction in wrinkles and a 65% increase in pro-collagen type I — meaning their bodies were making more of their own collagen and elastin.

Collagen doesn’t just fill in gaps — it tells your body to create stronger, younger-looking tissue.

👉 But first: make sure you’re using clean collagen. Most of what’s on Amazon is garbage — amino-spiked protein dressed up as “collagen.”

2️⃣ Joint Function & Connective Tissue Repair

Collagen builds up in cartilage and supports repair.

One Journal of Agricultural & Food Chemistry study found that 2g/day for 70 days reduced severe joint pain.
Another trial by Dr. Mike Ormsby showed that 10g/day improved pain, mobility, and even tissue regeneration markers.

3️⃣ Tendon Strength & Training Synergy

Collagen works best when paired with movement — that’s the key.

A Journal of Nutrition (2024) study showed 30g of collagen before resistance training increased collagen synthesis.
The famous “jump rope” study from AJCN found that pre-exercise collagen actually strengthened tendons over several months.

4️⃣ Sleep & Nervous System Regulation

Collagen is rich in glycine — an amino acid that lowers body temperature, calms your nervous system, and improves sleep quality.

A pre-bed dose (10–15g) can help you fall asleep faster and sleep deeper.

5️⃣ Liver & Hormonal Balance

Most of the “collagen haters” online have their own products or egos to protect. Some of them have talked so much smack for years that they can’t admit science is proving them wrong.

💪 Colágeno: Por qué no me creo el cuento de que “no sirve”

Hola Fit Fam & Seguidores,

Últimamente muchos están tratando de cancelar el colágeno.
Dicen que “no hace nada más” que una proteína normal.

Déjenme decirles algo: eso es falso, y pasa por alto la montaña de estudios que ya están saliendo.

El colágeno no es solo una proteína.
Es un péptido, y eso significa que envía señales a tu cuerpo para reparar, regenerar y construir tejido nuevo.

Aquí te dejo lo que muestra la investigación (y al final te explico cómo usarlo correctamente 👇):

1️⃣ Salud de la piel

Un estudio en el Journal of Skin Pharmacology & Physiology siguió a mujeres de 45 a 65 años.

Con solo 2.5g diarios durante ocho semanas, tuvieron una reducción del 20% en arrugas, junto con un aumento del 65% en pro-colágeno tipo I y mayor producción de elastina.

👉 En resumen: el colágeno no solo “rellena” — estimula tu cuerpo a producir más del suyo propio.

Pero antes de seguir, asegúrate de usar un colágeno limpio.
Muchos productos baratos (especialmente en Amazon) son pura basura — proteínas comunes disfrazadas de colágeno.

2️⃣ Articulaciones y tejido conectivo

El colágeno se acumula en el cartílago y estimula su reparación.

Un estudio en el Journal of Agricultural & Food Chemistry mostró que con 2g diarios durante 70 días, personas con dolor articular severo mejoraron notablemente.
Otro estudio del Dr. Mike Ormsby encontró que 10g diarios mejoraron el dolor, la movilidad y hasta los marcadores de regeneración del tejido.

3️⃣ Fuerza de tendones y entrenamiento

El colágeno funciona mejor cuando se combina con movimiento.

Un estudio en el Journal of Nutrition (2024) demostró que 30g antes del entrenamiento de resistencia aumentaron significativamente la síntesis de colágeno.
Y el famoso estudio del AJCN con cuerda para saltar mostró que el colágeno pre-entrenamiento fortalece los tendones con el tiempo.

4️⃣ Sueño y sistema nervioso

El colágeno es rico en glicina — un aminoácido que ayuda a reducir la temperatura corporal, calmar el sistema nervioso y mejorar la calidad del sueño.

Toma 10–15g antes de dormir y notarás un sueño más profundo y reparador. 😴

5️⃣ Hígado y equilibrio hormonal

La glicina apoya la producción de bilis (clave para digerir grasas, especialmente si haces dieta baja en carbohidratos).
También ayuda a tu cuerpo a usar el estrógeno correctamente, evitando inflamación, retención de líquidos y desequilibrios hormonales.

6️⃣ Recuperación después de lesiones

El colágeno no reemplaza al suero de leche (whey) — lo complementa.
Después de una lesión, el cuerpo necesita las señales del colágeno para regenerar los tejidos conectivos.
Primero sube el colágeno tipo III y luego el tipo I — ambos esenciales para una buena recuperación.

7️⃣ Salud cerebral

Nuevos estudios muestran que el colágeno puede ayudar a proteger el cerebro de la acumulación de placa beta-amiloide, que está relacionada con el deterioro cognitivo.
Esto ayuda a mantener la memoria y la comunicación neuronal fuertes con el tiempo.

⚙️ Cómo usarlo

Antes del entrenamiento: 20–30g para fortalecer tendones y ligamentos.
Antes de dormir: 10–15g para favorecer el sueño y la recuperación.
Mantenimiento diario: 2–10g para piel, articulaciones y tejido conectivo.

⚡ En resumen

El colágeno no es un engaño. Es una proteína funcional y señalizadora que apoya la piel, las articulaciones, los tendones, el sueño, las hormonas y hasta el cerebro.

La mayoría de los que lo critican tienen sus propios intereses o simplemente no pueden admitir que estaban equivocados.

El colágeno no es moda — es inteligencia en la recuperación.
Úsalo con estrategia, y tu cuerpo te lo agradecerá con fuerza, movilidad y bienestar.
