Paso Robles Veterinary Medical Clinic

Paso Robles Veterinary Medical Clinic We are a full service veterinary clinic serving all of your needs for your furry (or not so furry!)

PRVMC is a full-service veterinary care facility providing high quality veterinary services to Paso Robles and the entire North County area’s companion pets since 1962. Our skilled and compassionate veterinarians and staff take pride in the relationships created with our pet owners, and we work hard partnering with every pet owner to ensure that each pet’s veterinary needs are met. Our mission is to provide the best veterinary care possible for each pet, while working with each individual pet owner to develop a healthcare plan for their pet that meets individual budgets and concerns. We take pride in our affiliation with both the California Veterinary Medical Association as well as the American Veterinary Medical Association to ensure our services are kept at the forefront of our profession.

ATTENTION CLIENTS:
Paso Robles Veterinary Medical Clinic is in the midst of a lot of changes and adjustments.
With our clinic being purchased by Companion Pet Partners in the beginning of March and the retirement of Dr. Jim last week we are all doing our best to adjust accordingly.

A few changes will have a direct and immediate impact on our clients.

Due to limited availability of Dr. Harp ( We wish he could work 7 days a week!) and the rest of our staff our new hours are as follows:
Monday through Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Saturday and Sunday Closed
We are actively seeking to hire additional Veterinarians to meet your needs but unfortunately they are few and far between right now! Once we have hired another Doctor our hours will be adjusted again.

Our clinic has fallen behind on our yearly increases with the changing of hands happening quite frequently over the past few years and in order to continue to remain open and staffed our prices must increase.

Effective July 22nd 2022 our prices on select services and items will be increasing.

Within the next few months (sometime around October/November) we will also have a clinic wide increase on all services and items.
We understand the hardship this can place on our clients at this time and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please feel free to reach out to the clinic with any questions or concerns you may have, and we look forward to continuing to serve you and your beloved pets!

Thanks,
Paso Robles Veterinary Medical Clinic

It is with great sadness to announce that this week is Dr. Jim's last week with us! He has written this letter to announce his retirement to all of our wonderful clients-

To all of our clients, friends and family. It is with heartfelt emotion that I am writing this letter to inform you Dr. Deb and I are officially retiring from PRVMC this July. You may be aware that Dr. Deb has been in Arkansas the last couple of years taking care of elderly parents. As my contract with the new owners of the practice is now complete the time has come for me to embark on a new journey and join her there as well.

The decision to leave Paso Robles is bittersweet as we have come to know many of you not just as clients but as friends and family as well. We have been humbled and would like to thank you for your patronage and faith in us in caring for your “furry” and not so “furry” friends over the last 17 years.

Paso Robles and the North County have been our home for almost seventeen years and we have nothing but good memories of our time here. Dr. Keith Harp has been working at the clinic for a year and I couldn’t ask for a more personable and caring veterinarian to continue caring for your “extended” family. I would like to invite you to come in to meet him and get to know him. As many of you know I am a California native and went to school at the University of Georgia, Athens, for my DVM degree. Dr. Keith completed his final year of training at UGA to earn his DVM degree before returning home to California to practice. I am confident that I am leaving the care of your important four-legged family members in good hands.

Again, I want to thank you for all the wonderful memories that we have shared and for the trust you have placed in us to care for your pets. I will greatly miss you all,

Dr. Jim

Thank you for the food you bring,
and for that little squeaky thing,
Thank you for my daily walks,
and not being mad when I hide your socks,
You fluff my bed and brush my fur,
you clean my teeth and calm my grrr...
You're my mom and dad in every way,
and show you love me every day!
