💐🌟Celebrations of life and living…. April has been a bittersweet and busy month.

Today we celebrate my daughter, Koa’s 18th birthday🥳💫Many of you have watched this little lady grow up in the clinic. From the days when she played with dolls on her Dora couch next to the office desk to the days she helped me at the front desk when my staff were on vacation, Koa has grown along with my practice.

Earlier this month, April 8th, we passed the 16th anniversary of my Acupuncture Board certification. 16 years in practice and we are still thriving! 🎋🧧🎍🙌

April 8th was also a significant day this month as we attended my Father’s Honorary Burial at the Mountain Home VA cemetery in Tennessee🪽He crossed over earlier this year on February 21, 2026.

And we keep going…. We keep living and thriving, doing our best knowing that They want us to continue in joy. Blessings to you all this beautiful spring day. Live your best life today and every day.

If you have authorization for acupuncture through SCIF, we’re happy to coordinate directly with your adjuster and get you scheduled 👩‍💻 We also work with other Worker’s Comp carriers on a case-by-case basis, depending on your specific claim and approval.

Acupuncture needles are ultra-thin and designed for minimal sensation. We take an individualized, step-by-step approach so you feel comfortable throughout the treatment.

We introduce people to acupuncture at least once a week. Many people have an intense fear of needles, and they can still benefit from an acupuncture treatment so long as they feel safe throughout the whole process. If you are sensitive to needles, we have a special technique and special needles to ensure your comfort. 😮‍💨

Don’t let your needle sensitivity stop you from receiving the care that you need. We will go at your own pace and be with you every step of the way. 🌟

Avery Acupuncture has been working with the VA for almost 10 years. We proudly serve our nation’s veterans here locally in Paso Robles!

An authorization is required for treatment, so contact your primary care at the VA first, and we will get you scheduled here for Care in the Community.
