Just some FYI

Danny Ray Williams, Aden Williams have been threatening to pull the EFI off their main LS equiped grudge, bracket racing, street car “Patches” for various reasons and get back to the VRC way.
Off came the EFI with a 2100 cfm plus throttle body and on went a VRC 1300 Twin Blade, both on E-85

DA and weather has been consistent the past 3 weeks

E.F.I. 6.13’s 1.40 60’s
Twin Blade 6.012 and 6.013 1.32 60’s
Both ran same mph.

EFI has been previously flogged and tuned

Twin Blade was pulled off a Gen 1 sbc and bolted on…with no tuning for ET. No timing was added which is typically required for carb vs EFI
We should probably ck jetting but I suspect it’s close

Congratulations Wesley and Bucky Lee with the good showing at Hass Ciendo Ranch Mud Park. They brought home a RU and 3rd place in the Sock 44”/under In the big pit with both driving.
They’re carb was pitiful and too large…we converted it into a 950 annular on gas.
Feed back on carb has been favorable. 👍

383 LT1 , pump gas, VRC hand ported intake and heads( Gm LT1).

Video is first start after a head/intake rework…the carb has bench calibration.

It sure rips for a Daily Driver

I truly wished I could go back in time and fix all the carburetor slugs I used long ago thinking they where good. My opinion of my old carbs….snails 🐌

AVS in for freshening.

Don’t hate us but it may be time to put one of these big AVS’s on corn 🌽
They’ve always preformed well as street runners but their roots start with the Carter ABS.
Give us a thumbs up if that’s something you’d like to see.
