Dr. Atul Prakash of St. Mary’s General Hospital has recently published three groundbreaking research papers that could transform cardiology. His studies cover:
- Physiological Ventricular Pacing: Mapping the right ventricular septum to achieve a narrow paced QRS, potentially preventing long-term cardiac deterioration.
- Carotid Sinus Massage: Predicting head-up tilt test outcomes, offering a sensitive diagnostic tool for syncope.
- Implantable Loop Monitors: Comparing ECG characteristics of Reveal LINQ I and BIOMONITOR III, impacting event detection accuracy.
