Part of our mission is seeing the men who come to our program be "equipped to be the husbands, fathers, and Godly men they were created to be."
Check out these stats on the importance of fathers in the home. The masculinity some call "toxic" is actually exactly what our kids need. When dad is home, kids stay off drugs, in school, and out of trouble. Su***de rates, teen pregnancy, and feelings of depression/ anxiety all decrease dramatically when dad is home.
There are 377k families in Ohio in "single parent, no father present" families. We need a push to return the father to the head of the household, because thats where God designed him to be.
Every time a man gets sober, healed , and restored to his children's lives, families futures change for the better.
When a man gets his life together before having children and leads his family right from the start, it doesn't just change a mans life, it changes generations.
We are watching God change men who's impact and legacy will be felt long after we are gone. What a blessing!
