This morning the members of the Patchogue Fire Dept held a vehicle extrication class by the Suffolk County Fire Academy at the headquarters firehouse on Jennings Avenue. Several scenarios were reviewed and practiced using all the tools that are available on our apparatus. Special thanks to the fire academy instructors for making this training successful.

Members of the Patchogue Fire Department assisted Patchogue Ambulance and Suffolk Police by standing by for a helicopter landing this morning. The helicopter transported a patient to a nearby hospital.

Congratulations to Patchogue FD Juniors Captain Corey Jagde on graduating from the Suffolk Fire Academy Cadet course this morning. Corey is the first member of the juniors to complete this program.
