Our residents spent the day reliving summer camp fun and making new memories with our Life Enrichment Camp counselors! We kicked things off with a morning showing of The Parent Trap, before heading outdoors for a day full of camp ground spirit. From various art stations like sand art, tie-dye, and bracelet making, to camp bingo and backyard games, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Our residents and their family joined across the street at the Capital One Plaza for a true night to remember as we celebrated Mediterranean Night! Everyone enjoyed delicious flavors of the Mediterranean, life music by Gerry Ferretti, and the joy of togetherness while “traveling” across the Mediterranean without ever leaving home.

Our residents kicked off National Assisted Living Week by setting out on an all day adventure across Long Island to complete their Adventure Passports! From the charm of the Big Duck in Flanders, to breathtaking views at the Fire Island Lighthouse, the historical stories behind Jones Beach, a taste of tradition at Umberto’s Pizza of New Hyde Park, the elegance of Oheka Castle, and of course the Long Island Welcome Center, it was truly a day to remember. This was the perfect way to embrace this year’s ageless adventure theme, and prove that everyday is the perfect time to explore something new! We celebrated our amazing resident grandparents with a County Fair themed day filled with joy, laughter, and love! Tailgate season is officially here!🏈🍻 We kicked things off with the first NFL game of the season by throwing an outdoor party filled with all the football favorites.
