As the weather turns colder, our Anderson House gardening season has officially come to a close. The pollinator garden is hosting its final visitors as the bees collect the last of the wildflowers.
On October 26, we held our last garden group of the season. Together, our clients harvested what was left, cleared the beds, and prepared the soil for next spring. To show appreciation, our clients prepared a special brunch for the Master Gardeners who guided and taught them all year. They also created handmade “angel wing” thank-you cards for their Gardening Angels.
If this is type of programming you’d like to support, we invite you to support the work happening every day at Turning Point NJ with a year-end gift. Your donation helps ensure that anyone seeking help can receive care, regardless of their financial situation. It means more beds, more counseling hours, more stability, and more chances for someone to rebuild their life.
If you believe in second chances, this is a meaningful way to offer one.
