This year, we proudly celebrate 50 years of service to individuals and families seeking hope, healing, and recovery. From our earliest days as a community-based program to national recognition as a model treatment program by the National Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependence of New Jersey, our mission has never wavered. We are grateful for every partner, supporter, staff member, and client who has helped build this legacy and look forward to the next fifty years of changing lives.

Today marks the rekindling of our long standing relationship with . Covid forced us to halt the recovery music program Ricky brought to our Paterson facility each month. Then due to lack of funding we were unable to bring Ricky back until TODAY! Thanks to a generous funder today was a NEW DAY. Thank you Ricky for bringing hope in the form of music and sharing your journey. We look forward to seeing you again next month.

As the weather turns colder, our Anderson House gardening season has officially come to a close. The pollinator garden is hosting its final visitors as the bees collect the last of the wildflowers.

On October 26, we held our last garden group of the season. Together, our clients harvested what was left, cleared the beds, and prepared the soil for next spring. To show appreciation, our clients prepared a special brunch for the Master Gardeners who guided and taught them all year. They also created handmade “angel wing” thank-you cards for their Gardening Angels.
