Reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. Reflexology is a unique method of using the thumb and fingers on these reflex areas. Reflexology relaxes tension. The nerves are the body’s wiring system. A short circuit is often caused by tension p

utting pressure on a vital nerve plexus or even a single nerve structure supplying a vital organ. As tension is eased, pressure on the nerves and vessels is relaxed, improving the flow of blood and its oxygen-rich nutrients to all parts of the body. There are over 7200 nerve endings in each foot. Perhaps this fact, more than any other, explains why we feel so much better when our feet are worked using reflexology. Some of the most common conditions treated are: back, sciatic, neck, and shoulder pain, joint pain, poor circulation, water retention, arthritis, tension, stress, muscle cramps, dizziness, fatigue, and headaches. Some choose to have a treatment simply for the relaxation. It is overall beneficial for your health!

45 minute session consists of:
Herbal foot soak
Relaxing in a recliner with heat packs on neck and back while feet are being worked
While on a massage table, a vibrator will be used on back side of body, trigger point therapy will be applied for muscle relaxation on the shoulders, back and legs. Client turns over, face up. Reflexology method is applied to both hands. Trigger point therapy is applied to head and ears for stress relief. Pain relief cream is applied to shoulder joints, knees, legs and feet.
