When someone says, “I’m so tight” or “I’m full of knots,”
I smile a little—because to a Rolfer® / Structural Integrator, that’s where the conversation begins.

Tightness isn’t the problem.
It’s the body’s response.

As a Rolfer® / Structural Integrator, I don’t chase tension or work one isolated area. I assess how the entire body is working together. Posture, movement patterns, stress, and past injuries all play a role in how the body adapts over time.

Muscles often tighten to support misalignment or imbalance. Instead of forcing them to relax, Structural Integration addresses the underlying structure—so the body no longer needs to hold on.

Tension tells a story.
It reveals how the body is compensating, protecting, and carrying stress. My work is about listening to that story and helping the body reorganize toward balance, ease, and efficiency.

When structure improves, tension often releases on its own.
The goal isn’t temporary relief—it’s lasting change.

Your body isn’t broken—it’s communicating.
And anything you share helps guide the work.

Because tension isn’t random.
It’s the body asking to be heard.
