Van Buren County Substance Abuse Task Force (VBSATF)

To encourage healthy choices through learning and leadership.

Van Buren County Substance Abuse Task Force is a community collaborative that addresses immerging issues associated with the use, abuse, addiction, and manufacturing of methamphetamine, prescription drug, alcohol and other drugs. The VBSATF works to educate, enforce and promote what is the best for the health and safety of Van Buren County residents.

The DEA Take Back Day Event is tomorrow, Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10 am - 2 pm! Locations in Van Buren County include Bronson Wellness Center in South Haven and Antwerp Township Hall in Mattawan. Please bring your unused, unwanted, expired medications to properly dispose and help keep our youth safe.

🚗 Child Car Seat Safety Event 🚗

On Friday, February 27, from 12 PM to 3 PM, Safe Kids will be hosting a child seat check-up event at the Mattawan Fire Department.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on site to help ensure your child’s car seat is properly installed and being used correctly. No appointment is necessary.

Take advantage of this free opportunity to help keep your kids safe on the road. Your child’s safety is worth it!
