A big thank you to the members of the Black River Radio Group, who have been a partner with the Paw Paw Vineyard Classic for more years than we can count. Their radio communication members are in constant communication to provide information support for the cyclists. With radio operators at the start/finish, Lawton SAG, Decatur SAG, and a roving member, we are prepared to respond when needed. And, we hope that our radios are silent and everyone is finding their way along the clearly marked routes for Sunday's event.

It's partners like Black River Radio Group that make this event happen year after year.

About Vineyard Classic

The Vineyard Classic is part of the annual Paw Paw Wine and Harvest Festival that will be taking place September 11 - 13, 2020. On Sunday, September 13, there are many events in and around the Paw Paw area such as arts and crafts, winery tours, entertainment, grape stomping, the parade, and grapes for tasting.

The tour travels past lush vineyards and orchards at the peak of harvest season. Cyclists pass by woodlands, rivers, lakes and neighboring villages and can choose from three different length routes (23, 43 or 57-mile distances). There is a variety of places to stop and have breakfast at in town before the ride. There will be SAG support with radio crew, route maps, road markings, first aid and refreshment stops provided. Helmets are required. All proceeds go for college internships in Southwest Michigan.
