Health Information Associates

Health Information Associates Health Information Associates (HIA) is a privately held company that was founded in 1992 by Betsy Bailey, RHIA and her father, Deane Beamer, MHA.

Since 1992, HIA has been the leading provider of compliance audits, coding support services and clinical documentation audit services for hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups and other healthcare entities. Prior to 1992, Betsy held Director of HIM positions at two hospitals in Virginia. Deane has over thirty years of experience as an administrator working in various hospitals throughout the Southeast. The HIA family knows what counts – experience, commitment, integrity, and education. The success we’ve experienced these past 30 years is due in large part to our dedication to these values. We’ve set them as our standards in everything we do, and they are the reason we can provide the highest quality coding review and support services in the industry. When clients can depend on quality services delivered the right way, they find success, and that’s how we measure our own.
