Today’s Doc was called “A Story of Healing”

(1997) is a powerful, Oscar-winning short documentary about volunteer surgeons from Interplast (now ReSurge International) performing life-changing reconstructive surgeries in Vietnam. It’s moving, human, and hopeful.

What a busy, fun, and productive day at Living Well!

MJ was holding court in the art room while Ashley and Gloria cooked up a fantastic lunch — pork loin, root veggies, and mashed potatoes — all made with LOVE!

Then, late this afternoon, Flora, our RN, called on her way home — she spotted someone giving away a bunch of hay! Perfect timing, because MJ and the members will be making life-size scarecrows next week, and now we’ve got all the hay we need.

🎃 Happy Halloween, everybody!
What a fantastic day here at Living Well — so much going on! We had face painting, bingo, a Def Leppard rock concert dance party, a parade, and a costume contest with three winners! We even wrapped things up with a blindfolded taste and sensory test — and we’re proud to say Kenneth was the big winner! His prize? The honor of gently giving Ashley a whipped cream pie to the face!
