The Ethnic Business Awards and Etnias Magazine are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Gala Dinner, Fiesta and Awards Ceremony, an event that highlights the exemplary contributions and leadership of the business community to RI’s Ethnic Minority Groups. This award is bestowed to individuals and organizations that have reached out and made significant contributions to the betterment of ethnic groups in our state. Last year recipients of the Diversity Champion Award were: Lifespan, Neighborhood Health Plan of RI, Walgreens Pharmacy, Ocean State Job Lot, Telemundo Providence, Poder 1110 Radio Station, Compare Supermarket and Dorcas International Institute of RI; while in the individual category were recognized local and international well known visual artists Agustín Patiño and Munir D. The RI Governor Lincoln Chafee, Providence Mayor Angel Taveras and Cranston Mayor Allan Fung, also joined us in last year’s 1st edition of the awards and issued citations that were presented to all of the honorees.
