Happy 42nd Anniversary---to US! That's right, folks. Today, July 11, is our anniversary day. Monica and I got married on 7/11/82 at Aquinas Chapel on the Providence College campus (we are both PC grads). It's been 42 wonderful years of life with Monica even though in the last 10 months things have gotten a little dicey with her health. Most of you may know that she began her battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer starting on Labor Day weekend, 2023. She has had chemo treatments every 2-3 months since then, plus numerous blood tests, CT scans, MRI's, and x-rays. The good news is that at yesterday's chemo appointment, she was told that her team was ecstatic with her progress and that all the scans showed no negative results regarding her cancer. They have decided to now do chemo every 3 weeks instead of every 2 weeks. A definitely encouraging step in the right direction. Thanks for all the calls, cards, visits and encouraging words of support!!! It keeps her going! Walt
