In our busy lives, we take care of others. We keep things going and show compassion for those we love. Yet, how often and to what degree do we extend that compassion to ourselves? You pour so much into looking after others but who’s looking after you? Please join me for this special return of Self-Care Sunday where it’s your turn to spend an afternoon settling in and being tended to by Kuan Yin! Who is she? Kuan Yin is a Bodhisattva of Compassion. She is revered for her ability to ameliorate suffering and guide those in need.

*A bodhisattva is a person who has attained enlightenment but chooses to remain on Earth to assist others.

Our afternoon begins as you settle into a comfortable chair. Blankets, pillows and other such items are available to assure complete surrender to comfort. Playing in the background is a specially selected Kuan Yin Meditation by Alana Fairchild that will allow you to “dip into the richness of spiritual love to nourish your spirit, to replenish your soul and to sate that yearning for divine oneness within your heart.” as the healing energy of Reiki flows through me to you via the light touch of my hands. At the close of the meditation, you will receive your own personal message from Kuan Yin. Time will be given for reflection and journaling.

The afternoon will include a Yin-inspired Afternoon Tea (Yin and Yang in food- foods are organized into cooling (Yin) and warming (Yang) to promote health and balance according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Yin foods are typically cool, moist, and passive, which helps calm the body and replenish fluids.

Come pull a chair up to the well-appointed table adorned with linens, and china to partake in an assortment of teas, fruit, tea sandwiches and sweet treats reveling in the good company of new and/or old friends. It’s always just the right group that assembles!

To assure the intimacy of the group, and to provide each participant with ample attention and a luxurious experience, space is limited to 3 seats.

Participants will receive a heartfelt and thoughtfully selected favor to take home in remembrance the day.

A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $40.00 will be collected at the time of registration.

Who was Merlin? Was he a real person? How long has he been in the popular consciousness and how can we work with him today?

Almost everyone has heard of Merlin and King Arthur's Court (Camelot) even if they don't know much, if anything at all, about it. There continues to be new TV shows and movies centered around Merlin. If you're interested in History, Fantasy, or working with powerful Guides to assist you then this interactive and engaging gathering is for you!

To begin our afternoon, we'll discuss the history of Merlin in literature and Arthurian Legend, and how a figure in literature has become an Archetype or Guide many people work with and look to for guidance.

After a break with some light refreshment, we'll connect with Merlin via Table Tipping to find out how we can call him in, what signs will let us know he's around or helping us as well as receiving personal, individual messages/guidance from Merlin. You'll have the opportunity to ask him questions as well.

You may ask "what is table tipping?" In short, Table Tipping is a form of physical Mediumship through which our angels, guides, loved ones and pets who passed on can communicate with us by tipping the table to tap out messages for us.

This is truly a one-of-a-kind participatory experience blending history, discussion and connection to Merlin. Always the right group assembles so I'm curious to see who will join me!
