Our poor Bella was having a hard time walking today, so Dr. Savannah from EquidDoc Veterinary Services came and took X-rays, and did an exam—It was determined that Bella has a flare up of laminitis, and may have diabetes!
So Bella is now on a special diet of first cut hay only, a small amount of grain, and no more rich green grass—she will be only on a mostly dirt paddock with small amounts of grass until she is feeling better—
Bella loves to eat so she is not happy with this new diet! Poor Bella!
Thank you Dr. Savannah for taking such great care of our Bella!

Yesterday we had a celebration of life for two of our precious equine souls that we lost this year—our mini horse Thunder, and our Gentle Giant Draft horse Sam!
It is important to celebrate the animals that we have loved, and taken care of!
Part of our farm family shared some stories about Sam, and placed flowers on one of Sam’s favorite areas in his paddock where he is laid to rest.
From there we went to Thunder’s favorite areas in his paddock, and shared stories, and then spread his ashes.
Thunder and Sam are now watching over Field Of Dreams Farm after crossing over the Rainbow Bridge! RIP Precious Souls—You Are Missed!
