💚 Mental Health Action Day – May 15 💚

Awareness is important—but action saves lives.

On Mental Health Action Day, CRCC encourages everyone to take a mental health screening as a first step toward understanding and supporting emotional well‑being.

Screenings are quick, confidential, and can help connect individuals to the right resources. Taking action today can make a difference tomorrow.

🚨Call to Action🚨

💚Tomorrow is Mental Health Day of Action💚

75% of mental health conditions show signs before age 24. We should fund programs that offer upstream support during that critical window.

🎉 Congratulations! 🎉

We are so proud to celebrate Melissa Walker Salyards on receiving the Illinois Rural Health Association Behavioral Health Workforce Development Scholarship! 👏💼

Each year, the Illinois Rural Health Association awards scholarships to students preparing for careers in rural, medically underserved communities across the state. The program was created to help address ongoing workforce shortages in behavioral health and to strengthen access to care in areas where services are often limited.

Please join us in congratulating Melissa on this exciting accomplishment! 🎊

💙 Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day – May 7 💙

Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and understood.

An estimated one in five youth has a diagnosable mental, emotional, or behavioral disorder – yet many do not receive the help they need.

Today, we raise awareness about the importance of mental health for children and remind families that help and hope are always available.

Strong support today builds resilient kids for tomorrow. 🌱
