Some days, this job looks like back-to-back barns in the sunshine. Other days… it looks like long miles on the road, chasing daylight, and doing adjustments by partial moonlight, headlights, or the glow of fairground stall lights. 🌙✨

Horses, mules, and the people who love them don’t always fit neatly into a 9–5 schedule, and that’s okay. Chiropractic care isn’t just about convenience. It’s about showing up where and when it’s needed, even if that means getting a little creative with the lighting.

It’s in those late-night moments, with dust in the air and quiet all around, that I’m reminded just how special this work is. Every mile, every late evening, every adjustment, it’s all worth it. 💛

💙 A gentle reminder… your animal care providers are human too.

I recently read a story about a veterinarian who had to take a day off to say goodbye to their own elderly dog. Instead of compassion, the clinic staff was met with harsh words and even threats from a client who couldn’t be seen that day. My heart sank reading it, because sadly, I’ve experienced similar things.

There are times when I step away for vacation, a sick child, or simply life’s unexpected turns. In those moments, I’ve received comments like, “My dog will die before you get to them,” or, “You’ll regret not seeing me sooner because my TikTok following could have helped you.” Words like these don’t just sting, they disregard the fact that behind every veterinarian, chiropractor, or staff member is a person with a family, emotions, and their own struggles.

Threats, pressure, and passive-aggressive remarks have no place in this space. When I can’t be there, I always do my best to refer you to trusted colleagues, because your animals’ care matters deeply to me. But sometimes… we just can’t do it all. And that’s okay.

Please remember: the people who care for your animals are not immune to life’s trials. We show up with our hearts full for your animals every single day, but we’re still human. 💙

Let’s choose compassion over criticism. Always.

✨ Myth: Small animals like cats or toy breeds are too delicate for chiropractic adjustments.

💡 Truth: Every adjustment is customized to the size, age, and condition of the animal. For cats and tiny dogs, techniques are extremely gentle. Often, it could be the pressure you’d use to test the ripeness of a tomato. For larger breeds or horses, adjustments are still precise but scaled appropriately.

Animal chiropractic isn’t “one size fits all.” It’s about restoring motion and balance in a way that’s safe, specific, and comfortable for each animal.

I can't help but compare how canning peaches is similar to chiropractic care.

Just like canning locks in all the goodness for the months ahead, regular chiropractic care helps you preserve your health, mobility, and comfort.

Canning peaches isn’t fancy. It’s slow, a little messy, and it takes patience. But in the end, you get something simple and good that you can hold onto. That’s exactly how I feel about the work I get to do. It’s not about quick fixes.
It’s about taking small steps now so you can enjoy the benefits later.
It’s about steady care, preserving health, and giving people and animals the chance to feel their best long-term.

This sweet girl is more than just our family dog. She’s also my little boy's most loyal (and patient) buddy. With a rough-and-tumble toddler in the house, Pepper gets her fair share of hair pulls, tugging, and daily chaos. 💇‍♀️🐶👶

That’s why I keep her on a regular care routine: Adjusted every 4–6 weeks (sometimes more if she's giving piggy back rides to an unrelenting chaos instigator)

Chiropractic care helps keep her body moving well and functioning comfortably. This way, she stays happy, comfortable, and still willing to play, even when toddler love gets a little too enthusiastic. 💕

🌿 Different Season, Same Heart 🌿

There was a time I’d pack up without hesitation. Driving 7 hours round trip, working on 30+ horses in rural barns, working 6 days a week, and racking up over 60,000 miles a year. 🚗💨 I loved every mile, every handshake, and every horse, dog, or human I worked on. My goal was to grow a business, to be the best that I could be, and to continue to learn and pivot along the way. And I did all of that!

But life has shifted in the last few years.
With two young boys at home, I’m in a season where long trips aren’t really feasible. And honestly, as hard as that is to admit, and as difficult as it is to disappoint people.… it’s okay. ❤️

Now, by staying closer to home, I can serve a larger clientele than ever before. I can give more animals the care they deserve, more owners the support they need, and still come home in time for bedtime stories and sticky little hugs. 🐴👩‍👦‍👦

This transition hasn’t been easy. Change rarely is, right? But it’s been worth it a hundred times over.

Different season, same dedication… just with more love and more animals, right where I am.

My current routes include Weber-Logan, Sevier, and Sanpete 1-2x per month. SLC 2-3 times per month, and Utah County the rest of the time. I have paused scheduling farther out areas such as Tooele, Duchesne, Uintah, and Southern Utah for the time being, but always offer haul in appointments if you can come to me.

Just a little reflection for the past few years...
The realities of being a mobile chiropractor 🥰

There is really no job out there like it.
The convenience is non-comparable.
We set a day and time, I set up everything, the kids keep playing, and you get to relax.

Long distances and dirt roads are traveled, revealing small charming town discoveries.
It's an honor to be invited as a guest in to your beautiful homes and see the views that you cherish the most.

You're signing up as a "client" or "patient," but really, you'll end up as a friend and family member.
Your kids and pets are SO loved, please do not apologize for the "mess" or "chaos" - bring on the cuddles and playtime!

There will always be room to have your pup by my feet and to take the time to show your kids the tools used and make them laugh with the "clicker."
The offer of farm fresh eggs, cold water, and home cooked brownies is always appreciated but never expected. Your kind gifts extend the warmth of your home, and if it weren't for my own family to run home to, I would probably accept more of the dinners you all offer!

There are no boundaries on discussions. We can chat about anything you want, kids, concerns, life, etc. I could almost be a licensed therapist 😉

We've mourned together at a beloved pets passing. We've even shared embarrassing stories. Sometimes I hear the wrong questions, and we all get to laugh at how obsurd I sound answering the wrong questions. You get to laugh at MY embarrassing stories, so at least you know I'm also human 🤣

House call appointments really are THE BEST 👌 And becoming a chiropractor is the best thing I could have ever done 🥳

All this to say, if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life and I'm extremely lucky to enjoy what I do everyday! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
