✅Fact: Healthy gums don’t bleed. Period.
If your gums are bleeding they are inflamed!! Angry because bad bacteria and tartar are sitting below the gumline!
If you don’t like to floss, can’t get your fingers in your mouth, have a tiny mouth, or don’t floss for whatever other excuse you’ve come up with, find a method that works for you!!!
Waterpiks or Flaus units are both awesome alternatives to string floss that are a must try!!

🦷 Sometimes a dark front tooth just needs a “coat of paint”.

✨ BEFORE & AFTER: Palate Expander
❓ Has your child’s dentist recommended Phase One Ortho? After just 6 months of wearing a palate expander, my 6 year olds crowded mouth has transformed!

Not only does his smile look better, but because he has adequate space, the remainder of his permanent teeth will be able to come in properly, which will then decrease the time he needs to wear braces down the road.

He also went from snoring and grinding his teeth at night to sleeping peacefully because His expanded palate allows him to breathe better at night.

This is just one example of what phase one ortho can do, but I am a firm believer that creating space early on will improve overall outcomes for orthodontic treatment in teenage years as well as making treatments shorter and more predictable.

Look at this handsome smile!
This patient came to me after I treated his wife who already had a gorgeous smile, but that did invisalign to perfect it even further.
He started with a crossbite and some wear on his front teeth.
It took us about 8 months to correct his bite with invisalign and then we perfected the smile by adding back the length he had lost on his front teeth.
Now he and his wife both have a Hollywood smile! 😊

You won’t believe how much easier these teeth are to clean!!

Crowded teeth lead to build up, inflammation, and eventually bone loss and gum disease.

And that’s because they’re hard to clean!

Your toothbrush just can’t fit in those extreme angles and so plaque and bacteria collect there.

Translucency brightened with composite!
This patient had super translucent edges on her front teeth, which made them appear less bright.
She liked the overall shape and color of her teeth, but just wanted them to be less “see through”.
With some well-camouflaged composite, we were able to keep the natural effects of her natural teeth and brighten her smile at the same time!!!

This is something I run into a lot. Sometimes we treat translucent teeth with a non-invasive veneer and other times we can treat it this way!
