Resident practitioner Julie Picardi is a Lawyer, Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner, a Certified Tong Ren Specialist and a Medium. She obtained her formal education from Suffolk University where she Graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1994 with a degree in Business Management. Subsequently, Julie attended Suffolk Law School where she obtained her JD degree in May 1997. Over the past decade, Julie has studied the Law of Attraction, Meditation, Spiritual Healing, Holistic Health and Intuitive/Mediumship Development. But sometimes… your anxiety isn’t the problem.
Sometimes your body is reacting to environments that don’t feel safe.
People. Conversations. Expectations. Energy.
Your nervous system is incredibly wise.
It’s not weakness to create space where you feel safe.
It’s how you grow.

Before a bird can fly, it builds a nest.
A safe place to rest, restore, and prepare.
In our lives, we often try to grow while staying in environments that don’t actually feel safe for us — emotionally, energetically, or even physically.
When we feel unsafe, our nervous system stays in protection mode. And it becomes much harder to grow into who we are meant to be.
So this week, take a moment to notice:
Where do you feel calm? Where do you feel tension?
Your body is always communicating with you.
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do for ourselves is create environments where we feel supported and safe.
Because when safety is present… growth happens naturally.

Your energy is not unlimited.
And you’re not meant to hold onto everything forever.

We don’t talk enough about how hard it can be to let go of things that have been part of our lives for a long time.
Sometimes we hold on out of guilt. Sometimes we stay because we don’t want to hurt anyone. Sometimes we keep watering something that stopped growing a long time ago.
But your energy is precious.
Just like a garden, your life sometimes needs pruning so that the healthy parts can thrive.

🌿 Monday Message – The Garden
The message today is simple but powerful:
Nurture what brings you life.
So many of us hold on to things that drain us — people, situations, even environments that make us feel small or exhausted.
And yet we hesitate to let them go.
Why?
Because we feel guilty.
We convince ourselves that leaving something that hurts us somehow makes us disloyal or selfish.
But the truth is this:
Growth requires pruning.
Just like a garden cannot thrive if every dead branch is left untouched, our lives cannot flourish if we keep holding onto what drains our energy.
It is okay to release what no longer serves you.
When you give yourself permission to do that, you will often find that life begins moving in directions you never expected — lighter, freer, and more aligned with who you truly are.

Our Story

Julie Picardi is a Lawyer, Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner, a Certified Tong Ren Specialist and a Certified Spiritualist Medium. She obtained her formal education from Suffolk University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1994 with a degree in Business Management. Subsequently, Julie attended Suffolk Law School where she obtained her JD degree in May 1997. Ms. Picardi was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in December 1997 and the New Hampshire Bar in 2005. She has owned and operated Picardi Law Offices, LLC since 2001.

For more than a decade, Julie has studied the Law of Attraction, Meditation, Spiritual Healing, Holistic Health and Intuitive/Mediumship Development. Julie is a member of the Swampscott Church of Spiritualism and was certified as a Spiritualist Medium in February 2016, after years of study. She volunteers as a medium at the Church Fall and Spring Festivals and has been the guest speaker and medium at various Sunday services. Additionally, Julie teaches mediumship and host various events throughout New England/ With the help of her spirit guides, angels and mentors, Julie continues to grow and develop in these and many other areas.
