Just in time for July 4! This quick & easy, juicy & delicious recipe never disappoints!

5 ingredients:
1 large watermelon
8 oz feta cheese
1 cup fresh mint
1 lemon, juiced
2 Tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

When in doubt, Roasted Veg!
🍠🥦🥕🫛🍆🌶️🫑🧄

I like to make healthy eating as simple as possible!
Step 1: protein
Step 2: high fiber starch
STEP 3: COLOR

We get it, you’re told to “eat the rainbow” (insert 🙄). But did you know that plant foods include what we call phytochemicals, or nutrients that have special properties working in the background to reduce inflammation, prevent disease, and promote a healthy immune system? This category of foods is one where MORE IS BETTER for health.

Here’s how you can add more plant foods to your day;
•Have a salad based meal at lunch
•Aim for half your plate veggies at dinner
•Blend greens into a smoothie
•Add beans & greens to soups
•Eat a fruit with your breakfast
•Snack on fruits/veggies + proteins between meals
•Make a big sheet of roasted veggies for leftovers!

The goal is 4-6 servings per day!
1 serving = 1 cup raw or 1/2 cup cooked

☑️5 oz chicken / fish
☑️1.5 cups Greek yogurt
☑️2 cups beans
☑️1.5 cups quinoa
