Last Tuesday was another insightful day at our Annual Managers’ Meeting!

We kicked off day two with Tim Holtz presenting on accounts receivable. Tyler Anderson from Precoa and Rob Heins from National Guardian Life Insurance Company then joined us to discuss preneed initiatives.

Next, teams participated in a fun and challenging team-building exercise: one teammate was blindfolded while the others guided them to build a LEGO set, lots of laughs and teamwork!

We also heard from Scott Ankerholz on our exciting new digital marketing initiatives and from Nancy Weil, who shared her impactful community outreach efforts.

We were honored to hear RADM H.E. Grant, JAGC, USN (Ret.), share how his time in the Navy shaped his leadership skills. Jenn Parvin, CMO at Batesville - Honoring Lives, followed with insights on what today’s families are looking for.

We were then inspired by Joel Moren, who shared his incredible story of overcoming adversity and the drive to keep pressing forward. Wrapping up the day was our Awards Banquet where we were honored to recognize the hard work of our location managers and support team. Congrats to all the winners!

Day one on Monday of our Annual Managers’ Meeting in Charleston was a success!

We started the day with Tony Ku***ng, Chris Hamiel, and Wayne Durrett sharing where we’ve been as a company, where we stand today, and where we’re headed.

Regional breakout sessions followed, then Alyssa Williams from Batesville - Honoring Lives wowed us with exciting new offerings. Erin and Sara Gard from Halcyon returned to showcase their latest features, and we welcomed Andy Buckman, President of Express Funeral Funding.

We closed out the day with powerful presentations from Mark Forney, Kristine Kearney, Sandy Carlson-Kaye, and Katy Peckham, giving us fresh insight into the initiatives shaping our future!

It’s always heartening to see the teams at our funeral homes come together not just as coworkers, but as true friends! The bond they share extends beyond the workplace and reflects in the compassionate care they provide to every family they serve.

At our core, we're more than just coworkers. We're friends who care deeply about one another, just as we care for the families we serve. Compassion, connection, and support guide everything we do, both inside and outside the funeral home.

Our Story

For almost 20 years, we have been providing funeral home owners around the United States with a great alternative to selling their firms to a public corporation. We continue to be a proud family owned and operated organization and we look for those same family values in the funeral homes that we bring into our growing family of firms.

At Rollings Funeral Service, we understand that the decision to sell your business is not an easy one. You have built a successful business over the years by serving your families with the same honesty and respect that we are committed to operating with on a daily basis. With us, there are no big corporation gimmicks and no surprises.

With almost 50 firms in our organization, they are all operated on the local level, and their managers work directly with us to establish budgets, pricing, and best practices while still keeping their identities intact. Ultimately, we want Rollings to fit into your community. Not make your community fit into Rollings.

If you are interested in joining the Rollings family of firms, please contact our President & CEO, Greg Rollings, directly at greg_rollings@comcast.net or (770) 833-4778.
