Deep tissue massage dramatically increases circulation and oxygen levels just like those miraculous plant-based diets!
Hard, cold, inflexible regions in Oriental medicine is a serious indicator that the rigor mortis is setting in.
A well-trained massage therapist can break up the "GLUE," perhaps slowing, even reversing the aging and degenerative processes of those hard, tight, cold, stagnant, soft tissue areas.
Additionally, once the muscular armoring is broken up, a well-trained massage therapist can gain access into the acupuncture energetic system and literally strengthen the functioning of
each internal organ system, boosting immune function, releasing endorphins and generally doing great good.
So, I am going to go out a limb and submit
to you that one day in the future, it will be discovered that massage can significantly help in the prevention of disease and contribute in
helping restore a person's health, wellbeing and vitality.
You might recall that Hippocrates, the Father
of Medicine, prescribed massage for every
condition and affliction of his time.
He knew the concept of increasing oxygen and healing!
That's why folks live so much longer when they get regular massage.
That's why it slows aging and maybe even keeps you from getting some nasty diagnosis.
I believe massage therapy is the Fountain of Youth and we massage therapists are Ponce de Leon!
AND... since massage effects are cumulative, it's also fair to reason, the more you receive, the better you'll feel daily.
You know that euphoric feeling you have when you get up off the table after a great massage.
What if you can feel that good every day of your life?
Maybe we should all follow Mr. Hope and GET MORE MASSAGE!
Bob Hope with his massage therapist Judy Kemecsei , LMT
Judy did deep tissue therapy on Mr. Hope, 90 minutes everyday, seven days a week.
When Mr. Hope turned 100 years old, he was asked the secret to his longevity.
He said, "deep tissue massage, I've had one everyday for 63 years!"
Coincidentally George Burns, Rose Kennedy and the Queen of England also answered the question with the same daily 90 minute deep tissue session.
I know, they could afford it.
How much does an extra bunch of years cost?
To stay flexible, arthritis free, dancing...
