I was in practice for over 30 years and saw hearings take place that had no logical or medical explanation. Dr. Bauer has been a clinical hypnotherapist for 38 years. He had a thriving practice in Slidell, LA for 22 years with 85% of his clients coming from referrals. He has successfully helped hundreds of people overcome depression, stress, fears, and phobias. He has also helped countless others with many conditions such as stopping smoking, reducing weight, and overcoming insomnia. He now resides in Pearl River, LA. He is a past member of the National Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists, the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, faculty member of the National Guild of Hypnotherapists (1995), the Board of Directors of St. John’s University, and the Board of Directors of the St. Tammany Parish Unit of the American Cancer Society (1993-1994)

In December of 1995, Dr. Bauer started a 10 part television series entitled "The Healing Power of the Mind" for St. Tammany Police Jury Community Access, Channel l0, Charter Communications. Dr. Bauer has conducted hundreds of speaking engagements for businesses, groups, churches, schools, hospitals, and professionals and seminars open to the general public, and one-day workshops that were therapeutically designed to help a person improve all aspects of their life. Dr. Bauer has sold thousands of his self-help CDs, which are now available as digital downloads. This series of both hypnotic and meditation sessions were carefully developed and designed to include positive affirmations and soothing music, specifically created for each session. Dr. Bauer is the author of "A Journey to Inner Healing: Understanding the Mind-Body-Spirit Connection." This easy-to-read book is a step-by-step guide to help a person improve every aspect of their life.
